This museum showcases the history and heritage of Pontypridd and the surrounding valleys, with exhibits on the town's industrial past, its people, and their way of life. The museum is housed in a former chapel and features a range of interactive displays, artifacts, and exhibits that tell the story of Pontypridd's development from a small village to a thriving industrial town. Visitors can explore a recreated Victorian street, learn about the town's role in the Industrial Revolution, and discover the stories of local people who shaped the town's history.
Lovely town museum. Fantastic old building full of original features. Lots of interesting local town and Welsh items and curio's. Free entry .
A Great Free museum of life in pontypridd, have a look at the old Victorian bridge before you go in as there's information to read about it, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, you can park at Gas Road Car Park, for a small fee, (I think it was 50p an hour PS2 for 4 hours) but it gets busy on Saturdays (go Monday to Friday) really nice park opposite the car park as well with a lido with 28 degree water, we will be going back for this as it looks great.
Extremely detailed history displayed. I went deep back in history. Cleaned and the staff was polite. Nice tourist attraction.
Nice little museum. Could have spent longer there. Good history of Pontypridd and area. Will return at some point for another walk around
