Can't recommend Poppywood alpacas highly enough. The land surrounding where you get to walk your alpaca is absolutely beautiful, making the experience even more unforgettable. Everybody got an alpaca each, all with their own unique quirks and personalities. We walked through vast woodland, through grassy areas and along streams. Stunning walk but make sure to wear good walking boots! Thank you Nibbles for being such a good boy and spending this special time with me.
A massive THANK YOU to Pippa, Mark, Connie, & Isabelle!! & of course the lovely Alpacas yesterday you hosted my daughter's 10th Birthday Party ( 30 + people ) from start to finish you kept us all engaged with lots of facts & information all whilst stood amongst the Alpacas par-taking in a meet n greet. Everyone got a turn to lead their own Alpacha around a field in the open countryside then back indoors to meet the mother & babies, next we had a talk in the 'Yarn Barn' with the opportunity for everyone to feel the wool whilst learning lots of facts about it, then off to do a choice of crafting ( pom-poms, pottery painting & sewing, all alpaca themed ) then some healthy party food. Mark your spread was very colourful & tasty! Whilst the children finished their crafting, parents had the chance to order some food & drink as well as take the opportunity to purchase items made of Alpaca wool or Alpaca themed items! I bought a lovely warm snood! finally wool that doesn't itch you like mad! the crafting/party/cafe area is beautifully decorated and is large enough to cater for large parties/events. We will most definitely be returning, thanks once again the Webster's!
What a fantastic experience, I would give this 10 stars if I could but it only lets me do 5. The farm was extremely clean with welcoming informative staff. The cafe is extremely well priced with fantastic souvenirs. The prices for the experience was amazingly cheap for the memories you will walk away with. You can tell the Alpacas are well cared for and walking with the Alpacas is an experience I will cherish forever and a Zoo can't replicate this. Perfect for Adults as well as children and I can't praise Poppywood any more. Thank you for the experience and it was nice to meet not only the Alpacas but the owners.

A really interesting, fun and very interactive walk and talk experience, followed by some "proper" home cooked and child friendly grub afterwards. Pizzas and fruit salad were exceptional! Will be back and would definitely recommend. A true hidden gem

My first time walking and petting Alpacas!! It was very thorough of an experience. We met and greeted the alpacas, walked the male around the field nearby and fed the female and cria alpacas in another pen. The guide, Pippa, was very informative about the knowledge she shared with us about everything alpacas. Highly recommend this site and the experience.
