Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary offers rescued animals a "home for life". Set in the Cornish countryside we are a hidden gem, suitable for all the family.
Great 3 hours spent at a lovely little sanctuary. Saw lots of animals who had ample space and well looked after. Kids loved it. Especially feeding. Thanks for having us!
Lovely little animal sanctuary, clearly homing lots of well loved and well cared for animals. We went with a 4 year old who loved feeding the animals but sadly had to cut our visit a bit early as we planned to get lunch there but the sandwiches were limited so were unable to. The playground was an added bonus to our trip. The ground is a little uneven but plenty of wheelchair and pushchair users were there. Loads of handwashing facilities which I really appreciated. A little out of the way but definitely worth a visit if you are in the area but maybe take your own lunch.
Absolutely loved visiting porfell last week with my partner and two toddlers. From start to finish the staff were so knowledgeable and friendly!( we are from Yorkshire and it was the friendliest experience of the whole trip down south!) It feels so much more of an intimate experience with the animals than any other place i have visited and we really enjoyed it despite the weather being awful. The staff were also amazing when my little girl had a slight medical issue and helped us. Thanks so much! Personal highlights were feeding the Deer. No negative comments at all and i really hope we can return.
Wonderful place to visit. Far more animals than we expected for a Sanctuary. Great staff and very reasonably priced.
Fantastic little place! Animals are all lovely and clearly well cared for. Really lovely day out and reasonably priced too!
A very interesting place. We went too see Meerkats. We did see some baby Meerkats. The peacock was the best attraction. It was strutting and displaying its beautiful feathers very casually in the play area for kids. It was fun to watch it at such close quarters.
