Porth Dyniewaid is a secluded cove located on the north coast of Wales, surrounded by towering cliffs and lush green hills. The beach is a tranquil haven, with soft golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise water that's perfect for swimming and sunbathing. At low tide, the beach reveals hidden rock pools and ancient fossils, while the surrounding cliffs offer scenic hiking trails with breathtaking views of the Irish Sea.
Ok so Angel Bay, I'm not a walker, i am not a Rambler or Hiker, but upon a recommendation from a window cleaner whilst staying at our hotel my wife and i decided to search out this location, Why? Well when you get there you can look out and see seals in their natural habitat and that's motivation for a walk, to be truthful it's an easy walk, and Yes Google Maps does take straight to where you need to be, on the main road you can park for free, and walk up and it's beautiful all around, the views, this isn't a location where there is anything else so if you're going take what you need, also please adhere to the wildlife rules and stay up on the top, enjoying the seals is amazing, they're entertaining in their own environment and we could have spent hours here! It's well maintained and the local people are extremely friendly.
Went to Angel Bay on the recommendation of our accommodation at Bella Vista, Llandudno. It's a great walk but it was really chilly so we caught the bus then walked to the bay. Beautiful, green landscape with dramatic cliffs. There were 5 big seals in the water but none on the beach. This walk is very easy but there is a challenging climb if preferred. A lovely outing & highly recommended.
Very beautiful view not far from our hotel and bonus you get to see the seals from a safe distance, This place is nice to go for walk, picnic and dog walk.
Amazing! It doesn't feel like in the UK on the sunny day! We spotted couple of seals but please don't go down to see them. You can watch from the top. Bringing binoculars or a long lense camera would be helpful
Lovely short walk to Angel Bay from the car park. Mostly flat ground so it was quick and easy. I really enjoyed the scenery, sea breeze and peace here. And I was delighted to have spotted some seals bobbing around in the water!!
An area of natural beauty, stunning walks fantastic views. Viewing areas on the tops above the little beach to watch the seals. Please respect the seals by not getting close!
