A picturesque harbour situated on the north coast of Northern Ireland, surrounded by stunning natural scenery and steeped in maritime history. The harbour is a bustling hub of activity, with fishing boats and yachts bobbing gently on the water, while the adjacent beach offers a tranquil spot for relaxation. The harbour's rich history is evident in its charming old buildings, including the 17th-century Harbour Cottage, which now serves as a museum. Visitors can enjoy a range of water sports, take a boat tour, or simply soak up the atmosphere at one of the many cafes and restaurants lining the harbour.
Portrush is a fun little seaside town. Saw some of the Northwest 200, walked to the white rocks, and had a lovely dinner at Tide's. Great views and sites.
Beautiful and Fantastic place to visit. Brilliant day out for family and friends. Also good to chill out
Please ensure you pay your ticket and display it!!! Avoid a trap, it seems like there is someone hiding somewhere just to give a ticket after you left your vehicle. He won't come and advise you but he will wait for you to leave your car and place that PS90 stupid fine. Keep on searching those hidden paying points. Except from that it is a nice place to take your family to, it's a good place for both adults and kids.
Nice to visit, but watch out for the micro-climate weather. We left the car in sunshine, walked 5-10 minutes and we'd experienced Sun, Rain, Wind and Hailstones - we could not believe it ourselves. We had to shelter in a local cafe for it to pass.
We had absolutely amazing time on fish boat. Public toilets are near by
Did a wildlife boat ride here and had the pleasure of seeing seals and different sea birds. Theres a very good chance of also seeing the dolphins, unfortunately we didnt get to see any but the boat before us witnessed around 60 dolphins swimming along
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
