What a find this is - Valerie is a wonderful hostess and it was a pleasure to stay in her lovely home. Nothing was too much trouble and her breakfasts were just perfect. To wake up to the sound of birdsong and the lambs calling to the ewes was magical. So many opportunities to walk in the surrounding area make this is a perfect place to stay and plenty of pubs serving excellent food within easy travelling distance. We'll be back!
What a wonderful find by one of our group members and all last minute. Valerie the owner is absolutely lovely. So friendly and welcoming and so lovely to chat too about farming and family and the surrounding area. Wanted to continue staying. Breakfast was superb. Nothing seemed to be any trouble to the lovely Valerie - thank you Valerie - ah, one more thing, mustn't forget Edward. I need to step up with my farming skills :) Such a beautiful area and the B&B had stunning views. Gorgeous - watch out Valerie, we will be back. Thank you
We so agree with all of the good things said by other guests and felt it a privilege to be able to share this beautiful home and looked after by the lovely Valerie. In addition to being able to feed the horses were able to witness the lambing taking place under the guidance of friendly family farmers - perhaps the highlight for us was to see one sheep giving birth to triplets. Do hope that we may be able to visit again in the not too distant future.
This place has everything we could have wanted ; it is a light and spacious house with clean and comfortable rooms, in a beautiful tranquil location, and has excellent walking right from the front door. We enjoyed eating out in local pubs, and there are plenty to choose from.|Valerie is such a delightful hostess and went out of her way to make us happy and welcome.
What a wonderful B&B. Cosy, warm, comfortable, welcoming 2 night stay, excellent host who thought of every detail and provided a lovely breakfast. Idyllic setting amongst fields of sheep & horses. Highly recommend for a relaxing break away, and particularly for ramblers.
Valerie was such a wonderful host. The area is beautiful, peaceful and simply great. The Cotswolds at their best. We had a lovely time and cannot recommend it enough. Even their horses were friendly :-) !! Special mention to Steve .. a horse that loves a cuddle! After a long day outside, Postlip Hall Farm was the perfect place to rest.
