Great little find. The children enjoyed the feeding farm and fed the chickens and goats. It was smaller than I was expecting but they enjoyed it which was the main thing! All staff very friendly and some lovely independent shops
Not been here for a long time as didn't feel there was much to do. On a bank holiday weekend we thought we'd give it another try. We were overcharged in the nursery for half dead stock and ignored in the cafe when trying to get seated. We promptly left and won't return.
What a wonderful find! Only four minutes from the M1. So glad we decided to pop in and check it out. We met friends for lunch and it was the ideal place to have chosen. A beautiful setting with plenty of free car parking space. Dog friendly. An excellent, reasonably priced nursery. We also bought a couple of things from the dress shop and found some other great gifts.
Brilliant play cafe at the Den, for toddlers, lots of crafts and toys outside. Turn into the car park and keep driving up through to the car park at the back. The signage could be better. Great outdoor children's play area. Great food and drink. Brilliant to also be able to see the goats, turkeys, sheep, chickens and peacocks by the car park. We'll definitely be back!
Stopped to have breakfast. My partner had a full English and I had veg breakfast. Fresh ingredients -no tinned products. Excellent food and service. We will be visiting again :)total cost PS28.40 with pot of tea.
Amazing little petting zoo with goats, chickens, sheep, roosters, even a turkey! It has honesty boxes for 50p pots of feed and a hand washing station. Highly recommend if you're passing (or can make a detour!)
