Tranquil park with a playground, plus spaces for bowling, tennis, basketball & skateboarding.
Carnival atmosphere is absolutely unreliable. Love every minuite of it.
Had fun in the park good artists performed at the west Indian festival
Great parkrun event every Saturday. A lot quieter than Roundhay, but probably hillier. The park itself is usually quiet. It does feel a bit rundown and would benefit from some investment if the council had any money
Nice large park with medium sized Manor house which would have been impressive in its hey-day. Nice walking around the paths, approx. 2 miles circuit. Nice lake in the centre.
Out of all the parks we have been to in Leeds, this is my 8 years favourite. It has everything he needs and a great path to ride his bike around. People are lovely and always some to play with. Tennis courts are convenient and we sometimes use them to roller skate
Gorgeous park with an abundance of trees and grass, it's a lovely place to relax, hang out with friends, go for a walk, etc. Benches are located around the park. There's also a playground, basketball court, tennis courts, a skatepark, a community orchard and a bowling green. I noticed that it's a very clean park, likely due to there being more than enough bins. The atmosphere is lovely.
