no air con in the room. we have a temperature egg for our youngest child that clocked 37 degrees which was bizarre given it was only 18 outside. tiny fan in a family sized room. spoke to reception who said 'he has to put up with it too.' will not be staying again. perks, breakfast was beautiful and the staff were good about us needing a support dog for our special needs son. good location with food placed in a walkable distance which was great considering the restaurant was closed.

Room was cleaned nicely, the housekeepers do a marvellous job there. The shower was amazing!!!||||We visit this hotel every year, and the staff are always so lovely: Maryann was very helpful and smiley, the elder lady with short hair and round glasses was so kind and the lady with pink/orange hair and a fringe was super with us. ||We absolutely love this hotel.

I have been staying at the premier inn at oldbury for 4 nights a week for over 3 years and I couldn't fault the place, the staff or the restaurant/pub but since the owners of premier inn decided they were not getting enough profit and decided to close the pub/restaurant and open it themselves the hotel amenities don't even deserve one star they sacked all the staff except I or 2 and now they can't even open every day/night for food and drink. I get an allowance from work for food but when the restaurant is closed I have to use a takeaway and pay out of my own pocket, we also book weeks in advance but you don't get notice of when it will be shut. The staff are as helpful and as pleasant as always but would I recommend the hotel the answer is NO NOT IN ITS PRESENT STATE!!

Easy location to get to, wifi works in the rooms perfectly and the beds are nice and comfy. Appreciated the fan in the room as when I stayed the weather was really hot. Tracey on reception was extremely helpful and lovely as well. Would stay again for sure.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years. Always a friendly welcome. Clean and quiet for a good nights sleep. The restaurant was closed next door though and only served breakfast, (Breakfast was fab) This was disappointing as we would have liked to have a few drinks before heading out for Dinner. Hopefully this will be back open for our next visit.

We have used Premier Inn for many years. This one was so disappointing on many levels. Staff were all excellent, as always. First problem on arrival was the TV wasn't working properly. Initially told they would try and get it fixed tomorrow. After rejecting this (we hadn't even opened our suitcases) we were given another room where the TV worked. We often have this issue, so check the TV before anything else. The room was down at heel and the view out the window nothing but tall weeds (see three photos). The associated eating place was very disorganised (see photo of poster on door) Staff and food were good. We went for the usual Premier Inn meal deal. Evening meal took almost two hours with lots of delays (not enough staff). In the morning no hot food due an equipment failure in kitchen. The cooked breakfasts which are part of the deal could not be provided. Disappointing. As you might expect we didn't do the meal deal again. Worst Premier Inn we have used. Head office are not doing their job. Staff are being left to muddle through.
