Straightforward rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi in an informal budget hotel featuring a restaurant.
My family really liked this hotel, the rooms were modern and very clean. The parking and check in was easy peasy. The food options were excellent, the breakfast buffet was very very clean and delicious. All good we really liked Premier Inn Fleet. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We didn't have any issues here. If your looking for a value for money place to stay that's modern, non nosense, clean and confirmtable then this is a great place. Ideal for familes abd very safe.
Rooms were fine and good value. Free parking too.||Restaurant for a meal in the evening was an absolute disaster, a very small, quiet restaurant with a chef who clearly didn't know what he was doing and a duty manager who didn't particularly care or help. 2 pizzas and 2 burgers took an hour to come out. Only 1 table of 3 had been served food before us in that time... unfortunately the burger for my 8 year old son turned out to be a burnt steak. This then took another 25 minutes to bring his burger that he ordered.||The worst part to come was when receiving the bill, charged over PS70 for a pathetic experience and the duty manager saying I suppose you want me to remove the burger off the bill when I complained! Should you need to ask that question? Where is the customer care? We didn't bother to stay for the desserts even though we had paid for a meal deal, oh and guess what he wouldn't refund that bit either! ||Stay at the hotel for a cheap room but avoid the restaurant at all costs! Try The Station across the road, it was much nicer in all ways for food and drink.
We stayed beginning of August for 2 nights. We've stayed here before about 10 years ago, it must have been fairly new then as we won't be making the same mistake again.|It's the most expensive Premier Inn I have stayed in, maybe worth it 10 years ago but now it's run down and in need of some work.||I stayed on the corner room of the 3rd floor, room 303.|The headboard had some weird stain on it, the bathroom has damp in the corner and in general it could do with a good clean and a paint touch up.||The windows don't open but the the air conditioner is soooo loud, you can't leave that running.||The first night I got no more than 3 hours sleep due to a long, loud persistent buzzing/ humming noise.|The next day I spoke to reception who said thr kitchen extractor fan runs all the way up through the building and that it possibly got left on over night causing the noise.|The next night it was off by 11.30.|Just be aware of the noise if you get this room (and the weird stains).||My sister and her children also stayed, she had a 2nd floor room. This room was ready almost an hour after check in and also only had 2 beds made up. It smelt of urine! She was quickly given a room with the correct number of beds and did not smell of wee!||Absolutely not worth the money to stay here, Premier Inn are usually so reliable but this hotel let's it down. Ending on a positive, the staff were great!
Easy parking and staff are lovely but my room was very smelly and had to be moved rooms. Very dated rooms, more like an old travelodge then the usual Premier Inn standard. Most was clean but spotted a few build up (soap dispensers) things that could have been better in my opinion. Sheets on bed had marks and rips. Bed was very comfortable and evening staff was spot on!
Needs some TLC. Location wise for my business trip was excellent, 3 minutes door to door which is why I picked the hotel. |Parking on site, and close to shops if you wanted to nip out for food. |The bedrooms are looking abit tired and rundown for a Premier Inn. Standards weren't within keeping off previous Premier Inn's i've stayed at. |However, the staff were accommodating and welcoming. The bed was really comfy and despite the room overlooking the road I didn't hear any traffic.
Staff were friendly and courteous under challenging IT issues. Kiosks were not working and door entry cards kept failing. Things got fixed quickly but a little surprised by how bad that was given the price of the stay. ||It was okay but I was expecting better...
