Budget rooms in a simple modern hotel with an adjoining pub/restaurant and free parking.
Accessible room on small side and tatty. For a new build everything a bit bashed and old fashioned. No phone charging point in room and bathroom mirror, skirting in room all damaged. Carpet looks pretty worse for wear. I stay at quite a few Premier Inns and this one is pretty bad. Receptionist very nice.
We had a really good time here food was fab. We had our young kids with us they enjoyed the soft play area which was a bonus.||Bed was comfy.||We stayed 5 days and had a pleasant time staff were very helpful and always happy to help||Breakfast was great good mix hot and cold.||Main meals (meal deal) were served timely and hot. Overall great value
Premier Inn in Hastings is conveniently placed next to a Sainsbury's supermarket and near the Hastings centre. Despite its central location, the noise of vehicles was not bad at all. Staff were very friendly. The hotel has a lift and is connected to Brewer's Fayre for all meals (I won't be reviewing that here.) Our main concern came from the room. Aside from the slightly dated bathroom, we were left very disappointed with the fourth bed we ordered for the room. Whilst the other beds were comfortable, the additional bed was small and the springs were so uncomfortable that it felt as if you were sleeping on rocks. Be mindful that some of the rooms are a long way from the lift, so expect up to 5 minutes of walking down narrow corridors. Not the best Premier Inn we've stayed at, but it was still great value for the price we paid.
Booked this room for 1 night, two adults and a baby under 1. Requested a cot when booking. Was shocked to find out that our room was basically on the other side of the hotel, up the lift, down a long corridor and down one level of stairs... I don't understand why they would allocate that room when we had requested a cot. Wouldn't common sense kick in, i.e a ground floor room so we could take the pushchair. Not a great start. Once we got to the room, it was comfortable, what you would expect from a Premier Inn. This hotel has a restaurant attached to it. We did go to it for the evening. The food was disgusting! Not worth the money, overcooked frozen food. They did have highchairs. That 1 night sleep wasn't great too, lots of noise from the car park (people being load and even heard someone vomiting outside). Staff at reception weren't around when we needed someone. Had to use the buzzer 3 times. Staff were friendly. I'd think twice before booking this hotel again.
The person who has come up with a system that requires guests who happen to arrive a few minutes before 15.00 to form a queue until 15.00 should rethink the policy. It is not customer friendly and is just a bad policy driven by the extra charge for booking in early. Such an attitude does not deserve customer loyalty.||The room we had, 323, was OK. The dirty window, both inside and out, and a badly chipped mug show a lack of attention to detail. In addition the floor in the bathroom was unstable.||We went for a drink in the restaurant and thought the place needs a face lift and a proper clean. Wiping tables with a grubby cloth and leaving a sticky mess behind is not adequate. As a result we chose not to risk eating there.||In essence, if any manager reads this please sort this place out. At the moment it falls well below the standards we have experienced in other Premier Inns.
Unbelievable guy on reception. Racist. Booked 4 family rooms 3 people per room. Said no as adult's. We have stayed many times as a touring cricket team and have never been treated like this. We are Asians living in Europe and if we were white there would not have been a problem. Many people stay 4 to a room age 18 or over. Will never book again and will tell all touring teams to avoid premier inn. The guy was a Racist person
LGBTQ+ friendly
