We checked in about 7pm after a long day at Peppa Pig world. It is a short drive from Paultons Park which was great. When we got to the room there was a strong smell of sewers. The lady from reception came and was apologetic but unfortunately said they were fully booked and unable to move us. She bought us some air freshener and we just had to put up with it as we needed to put our 3 year old to bed. We woke up and wanted to get out the room so we went to breakfast which we pre booked. We could not fault the breakfast. It was absolutely lovely and had so much to choose from! Pancakes were yummy and the chef cooked my little boy some boiled eggs fresh which was great! Overall it was ok and if the smell wasn't there we would have rated it higher. I spoke to guest services after and they were very apologetic and refunded us the nightly price so very impressed with the service inside & outside of the hotel! Jacky was ver helpful :)

I stay in Premier Inns quite often. As long as the rooms are clean and tidy, there isn't much to set them apart. The only thing that differs is the customer service. Staying here with our three kids and my Mum and Dad in a disabled room was exceptional. The staff were absolutely brilliant and did things that were exceptionally kind. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again, I would just book it as the first option.
Excellent stay. Accommodation clean and tidy as I would expect from a Premier Inn. Comfortable bed. Loads of parking. Friendly staff who changed our room when we mentioned we needed a ground floor one to be able to bring our bikes in for security. Ideally situated to be able to access the New Forest by a short drive in the car.
The hotel and staff are fantastic and breakfast was good. however the Vine Inn next door was a shambles and were only taking Bookings after 5pm we arrived at about 4.30 got sorted in room and looked forward to going for a meal in the pub and was told not enough staff to cope and when we tried ringing to book it just kept saying no availability so we ended up ordering takeaway. So many people were turned away that were stating at the hotel. Might be wise to let people know that you have no links with the pub as that's what everyone thought

This experience has been the absolute worst experience for me and my family. We were greeted with nothing but prejudiced remarks and treatment for our entire stay from the moment we arrived. My room in particular was an accessibility room which is completely fine, however it was not thoroughly cleaned. There were cobwebs and spiders on the walls and behind the tv and the kettle were full of dust. Furthermore, the lights did not work even with our room cards and therefore me and my roommate had to use one card for us both. Later that same night, my entire family had issues with our room card and when we approached the front desk the customer service was poor. As an all black family we felt unsafe and uncomfortable during our stay. We were accused by Gareth in particular of not paying for our rooms and our breakfasts and sneaking people in. Which had no basis as he could clearly see how many individuals were in each room and that we were all accounted for. Not only were these remarks made to the adults but also to children in our family that could not defend themselves which is completely inappropriate! I can assure you that the adults in our party who all have steady careers and pay their bills do not have the time or effort to sneak anyone in to a 60 pound a night hotel. Not only did Gareth make these racists remarks to us but he proceeded to speak about it non discreetly to anyone in a five mile radius who would hear it which was very unsettling for our family having to hear lies on repeat during our stay. What made it worse was to hear whispers of other families who rated it as "the best experience" which clearly indicated that our family, the only black family present was treated differently. If you are an ethnic minority I recommend finding another place to stay, especially if you are travelling in a larger group.
Stayed in this hotel due to its close location to Paultons Park. Plenty of car parking spaces on arrival. The hotel is a little bit tired compared to some other Premier Inn's I've been to. The room was fine, there was a slight smell in the bathroom but everything was clean. The main issue was we stayed on a hot evening. The room had no A/C and the provided fan was completely useless at producing any breeze even at full speed at close quarters. It was an uncomfortable night in a room which was so hot. I heard other guests sharing this experience at reception. ||The hotel is not linked to the pub next door, so no meal deals on offer. Breakfast is served in a dining room within the hotel. The breakfast was in quite a small room but it was a very good breakfast with all the normal offerings.||Overall I'd stay here again, I just hope there is more investment made in A/C or at least working fans.
