Single, double & family rooms in budget lodgings with on-site dining and free parking.
Staff were lovely. Place needed updating. It was 27.5 degrees in the room and the window only opened about 5 inches. Thank heavens they put a fan in there. Very grateful for that. The room was spacious and the shower was nice. Went down for an evening meal and the place wasn't very full but they asked me to go back in an hour and a quarter as they only had two staff on. It's too late for me to eat. It's a pity they couldn't have squeezed me in, I was on my own. Breakfast was nice but the cooked food was just warm not hot. Good value for money though
The Inn is good, clean, fit for purpose. |The receptionist was nice but please I advise, take breakfast and ask for Emma, she's the sweetest, kindest and loveliest person ever to meet and have a lovely conversation with. She made my family's day and made our stay worthwhile. She even packed our son a nice takeaway treat. |The Christmas family!
Simply dreadful. No air-conditioning. Our room hit 25C and were provided with a squeaky fan to cool it down!!! No sleep and an incredibly rude receptionist when we reported the problem. The rooms are clean and the night manager was very good.
Whilst Premier Inn's good nights sleep guarantee will claim a hotel cannot be criticised for lack of a facility I.e. lack of AC, an internal temperature of 26c with an outside temp of 19c in the evening and a temp of 28.5c! In the morning with an outside temp of 17c is simply unacceptable, coupled with a train line right to the rear of the property meant having the window open was an impossibility. I feel I would have gotten a more restful nights sleep in the car park. ||||
Great fan of Premier Inns and rarely disappointed. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Room perfectly ok. However one of the bath towels was missing on arrival and today found bath towel had black marks over it. Breakfast was very average. Maybe it's cos it was a quiet time when we went but the hot food was lukewarm and looked like the food had been left a long time without being replenished. Thankfully staff replaced the bacon and hash browns when asked but you shouldn't have to ask. Didn't bother having breakfast after the 1st day
Rooms were clean. Don't know why Premier Inn (and others) don't provide something other than a thick duvet. Always to hot! Beefeater has shut and the offering from the adjoining "restaurant" was very poor. Do not have the jellied chicken wings. Breakfast was also mostly cold.
