Beautiful scenery. Quiet and tranquil -work in progress gardens. Great cafe - Dog friendly. Can't access monastery. Plenty of parking. Lovely place for contemplation and escaping daily life.
Beautiful location for a spring visit. Daffodils as far as the eye can see. Particularly enjoyed the monastery garden. Great views, good facilities looked after by super friendly staff.
Nice place and a good cafe. Tbe shop is really small and no great pottery made by the monks anymore. The food was home made and was tasty and OK. Very clean and tidy and great staff.
Gorgeous views, especially on a clear bright day. Didn't end up going into the birds zone but managed to see a few varieties from the balcony area at the entrance. Lovely garden setup. Very relaxing and highly recommended if it is a 10 min stop as a detour or break on a long journey.
Beautiful. Go there a LOT. Monastery garden is lovely. Cafe expensive but nice staff. Nice walk to the retreat which is the monks home
