The park offers a fun filled, family friendly destination all year round with amazing events and activities throughout the year. Situated in the maritime town of Maldon and nestled between the historic high street and Blackwater Estuary, the park features a water Splash Park, beach huts for hire, sandpits, galleon play ship and aerial zip-wire, model boating and crabbing lake as well as several picnic areas. The park hosts numerous events and offers amazing sea views over the Blackwater Estuary making it an extremely popular park with over 500,000 visitors a year.
Brilliant place for kids and adults. Beautiful park with so much to do. Highly recommend for a day out without costing a mortgage! Tip, bring cash, vendors don't do cards.
Lovely pirate themed, 18 hole putting golf course. Kids loved it especially little boy he thought it was amazing. Takeaway cup of tea was really reasonable at PS1.80 from the pirate cafe on-site. Also close to a really nice playground that's built like/into a big sailing ship, on the same side as the promenade splash park.
A lovely walk around the promenade park, dog friendly, required dogs to be put on lead; family friendly as well. Plenty of space for walks; there are many little cafes nearby, as well as public toilets. There are lots of different car parks to use and I believe all charges a reasonable fee.
Such a brilliant day out for all the family. So much to do. water park, crabbing, zoo, museum, boating lake & ice cream .
We visited the promenade Park today with our grandchildren and had so much, fun crabbing in the boating lake, playing grazy golf and climbing on the pirate galleon ship. There's so much to do we are going to go back as soon as we can.
Came here for Food Festival (drove 1 hour from north London) and was impressed with the facilities around, especially as my mum is wheelchair bound
