This 18-acre park features a large play area, skate park, and outdoor gym, as well as a riverside walk along the River Tyne, picnic areas, and a café.
A great place to take the kids. So much to offer. We played in the park, then had lunch in the cafe. The staff are so lovely. We finished by riding bikes by the river
Lovely walk and the cafe is lovely too.
Gorgeous little walk up to Wylam and back with the dog.
One of my favourite walks with the kids and my dog is from wylam to Prudhoe, the cafe at the Riverside park is a perfect halfway stop to refuel. Cakes are always beautiful - the fruit scone with jam and cream is absolute favourite I've ever had from anywhere.
A nice break half way into my 12 mile walk. Had an enormous cheese scone and coffee. Spot on.
Lovely outdoor walks on offer. Plenty wildlife around! Avoid the water as it's dangerous, but okay to paddle by the sides if supervised.
