A 2 ft (610 mm) narrow-gauge railway that runs for 15 miles (24 km) from the town of Minehead to the village of Cheddar in Somerset, England, passing through the scenic Quantock Hills and along the coast.
Lovely little track run by volunteers grate favourite for kids and only PS2 per person. My granddaughter loved it.
Enjoyable experience with a little one. PS2 with return. Free ride under 12 months babies
I had a blast on the Pugneys Light Railway today. Everyone I met there was superb, from the lady taking tickets to the gentleman driving the train. I had a very excitable autistic young man with me and everyone gave us plenty of space so I could make sure he was safe and enjoyed himself. The ride itself was really fun, there were two trains running so pretty much no wait to ride, and it was only PS2 a head which is cracking great value. I may have to go back on my own some time!
PEACEFUL WALK
Great miniature railway staff friendly and a lovely ride round the lake and through the woods
What a great place to visit on a cold winters day. Lovely walk, plenty of things to amuse the boys, birds to watch, great play area and a lovely lunch in the cafe. Then a lovely train ride with my grandchildren. A short but fun ride with things to look for in the woods. Very friendly, helpful staff. A definite place to visit again!
