In The Puzzling Place's World of Illusion you'll discover balls rolling uphill in the Antigravity Room, you'll grow and shrink in the Ames Room, see static images that move, straight lines that bend, a hologram gallery and interactive exhibits, images and structures that'll fool your eyes and brains. Prepare to be amazed!
Strange little place. Visited on a rainy Monday and it was rammed. I definitely would recommend booking. PS15 for a family of 4, not bad but you are allocated a 30 minute time slot and you really wouldn't need much more. Quite a few decent and interesting illusions but left feeling pretty underwhelmed. It's much smaller than I'd expected too.
Best PS4.50 (each) we have spent in a long time! What a brilliant attraction this is. We had a very fun, interactive, and family friendly couple of hours. Take a camera or make sure you have your phone charged to grab images at the 4 main set piece photo opportunities. Take your time and try all of the optical illusions. We were a party of 6, two children (4&10), two adults (30's & 40's) and two grandparents (60's and 70's), and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
We loved this place. Cheap entrance (tickets available at the door) and dog friendly. Enter by climbing stairs to the first floor. The exhibition is full of visual effects and optical illusions. My family had a great time and it's definitely not just a place for families with young children. In fact, a lot of things were definitely more appreciated by my fourteen year old child. It took us about 40 minutes to see everything. There is a cure little gift shop at the end of the experience. Beware that none of the hand sanitizers were working and that there are no toilets.
This was so much unexpected fun. We popped in here whilst visiting the lakes on one of the days the weather wasn't just as nice. It was a bargain price for the whole family, and everyone enjoyed the novelty of it very much. Also, the gift shop was very good and reasonably priced too. The lady that was taking admissions and working in the gift shop was also really, really nice.
Busy but amazing place for kids to play with ilussion and gravity!
Had forgotten this place was in Keswick, its only small but kept 5 year old, 10 year old and grandma amused for 1.5 hours. Took lots of photos. Lots of Wows! From the kids. Really good shop. No loos so check kids are empty. Allows dogs strangely.
