Large public park with an ornamental lake, an outdoor gym, a playground and sports pitches.
A nice park, Very big, nice views. I didn't get all the way around the park today. Plenty of places to sit down and enjoy the nature. I was disappointed to find the toilets closed & looks like they have been closed for a long time hmmmmmm
Good for sports. Football pitch and tennis courts look well maintained. Otherwise, a sad, sad shadow of what it must previously have been. More litter than I've ever seen in any park in any country. A real variety here.. sure, you get your crisp bags and cig boxes but there is also the serious stuff like sanitary towels. Didn't see any needles but I was trying not to look. My partner swore never to return due to the litter, human and dog 'waste'. A varied selection of street drinkers.. The staples are here.. Kestrel black etc. but also some classic wifey drinkers and even a few Festers tins. I was surprised to see literally HUNDREDS of Red Bull empties. Not literally as in "And I'm not even joking" but actually evidenced. This was originally a well landscaped park with a pond and great tree plantings. There was even a bowling green and decorative walled gardens. These are still here and well maintained (to an extent) but ghostly empty as they are padlocked-off, sigh. Nice to see the sports areas being used for Sunday football though. There seems to be a council depot in the park with tractors and equipment. Maybe it serves the parks dept for other areas.. there's certainly not been any litter collection in this park for years and years.. some of the litter is faded and rusting, so just piles up. I know it's not Hampstead or Stoke Newington but I was still shocked. Especially after researching the other reviews here first.
A beautiful park in the middle of Edmonton with a little bird sanctuary. It's a great place to chill.
It is a very good park for children as there are many play items in the children's play area. Under the trees at the football ground you can do picnics too. Saw less dogs at the park. Saw many swans and geese and rats too. Quite a good park to enjoy your day.
It is a very calm park for evening strolls, and picnics. There are many beautiful birds such as ducks and swans and animals that enhance the beauty of this place . This place is suitable for walks , exercise and picnics. There are many swings for kids to play. Beautiful scenes and plants are soothing to the eye . I enjoyed my visit with my friends here and want to visit more often. I recommend it to people to come and relax during their weekends here. It surely freshens up your mood.
A lovely little park with much to do; a play park for the youngsters, tennis courts, basketball courts, outdoor gym equipment for users of all ages, some lovely bits of nature; trees, river, the birds. There are a few tucked away spots that are a bit quieter, if you wish to have a more peaceful experience.
