This small, tranquil park in Leeds, West Yorkshire, features a beautiful lake, walking trails, and a variety of flora and fauna. Visitors can stroll around the lake, feed the ducks, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The park also has a children's play area, making it a great spot for families.
Secluded Pocket Park, with lots of trees in a relatively central location in Raunds. Good place to stretch your legs or take the dog for a walk. Nice information board where you enter off of the main road. That's where the good stuff end. The downside. Poor signage from road. There is none. The only give away is a gate. The gate has nothing to say it's a Pocket Park. There is no provision for litter i.e. litter bins and no dog poo bins. The only confirmation you are in the Pocket Park is when you see the information board. There are no benches to sit on, which is the first Pocket Park I've been to without a bench to sit on. If you want to see a much better attempt at a Pocket Park, head down the road for about a mile, and visit Stanwick Pocket Park. Much better.
Small pocket park. Parking next to adjacent Amos Lawrence playing fields. This location is also known as Stanwick pocket park. Nothing but a footpath through a small copse of trees.
Just a short path through a few trees starting and finishing in the same place. Mostly used by dog walkers as somewhere to let their dog do it's buseness and leave it for someone else to stand in...
A walk just about manageable for me, but not long enough for the children and grandchildren. Very overgrown and apparently there is a pond but we couldn't find it.
Lovely area in a central location. Unfortunately spoiled by litter louts, locals do pick up cans etc
Small park near roundabout. Quiet place. Overgrown when went, couldn't see pond
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
