Protected beach for swimming & access to woodland & cliff walks in a picturesque setting.
Perfect little cove, not overly busy even on a sunny afternoon in school holidays. Presumably because there's no easy road access because of the lack of parking. Beautiful clean sand and water, a bathing platform, a little shop/cafe and loos. What more could you want?
Fantastic, small, dog friendly beach. Has a small shop there serving cold drinks, snacks and local trinkets. Toilets are available and seating. Car park is a little walk but can't recommend going here enough. There is a pontoon which you can swim out to which is great fun in the summer.
What a gem of a place. We were staying in Fowey and were lucky enough to be able to walk here. Beautiful sandy cove. My 8 year old loved it, digging castles and swimming to the pontoon. The beach coffee shop served the best coffee of our stay and the staff are very friendly and chatty. We are planning our next visit to Fowey just because of readymoney cove.
What a lovely little cove. Can imagine it gets busy in the summer. The cafe and shop is also great.
Lovely little beach and swimming spot in Fowey. I visited a couple of times while staying in Fowey. The beach can get busy, but it still feels quiet and secluded. Its about a 10-15 minute walk from Fowey town centre. You can walk up towards the the coastal path from the beach which is great too. There's a great cafe with ice cream, cold drinks, snacks, beach wear and some gifty bits. There's also a toilet and a tap to fill up water bottles or dog bowls. A beautiful spot, whatever the weather!
Beautiful little beach, nice Cornish ice cream from the little shop and clean public toilet
