A fantastic small zoo with a range of different species. It has lots of exotic mammal species for a small collection such as Serval, African civets, Yellow mongoose, African crested porcupine etc. I would recommend up to two hours to see all the animals in which they have on offer. Definitely recommended.
Free parking and PS14.00 for a family ticket, we had a great time here looking at all the animals and bird. The Zoo keepers were very knowledgeable and helpful, we listined to the Lemur talk whilst there. Some work going on to improve the facilities but this did not hinder the walk around the park. Never seen a Racoon dog before.
A fun day out, even for adults. Being a non profit zoo, most of the animals seem well cared for and have nice enclosures. Definitely worth a day trip if you are visiting Cheshire.
This mini zoo is bigger and has more animals than we originally expected. The animals all looked healthy and happy (but it in a university for vets ). There is a bit of a walk from the car park to the zoo entrance, and at the time of our visit, you had to pay online as there was nowhere to pay at the zoo entrance. It is well worth the price and we'd visit again. Its only open at weekends and school holidays but check online before you visit.
The mini zoo was great, all the animals seem happy and well looked after, their enclosures were clean and you could see boards all around for the staff and students to write who did what and when to ensure nothing was missed. They had a lady doing a talk about birds of prey which was interesting and informative. We got a wowcher deal for a family of four so was even more reasonably priced.
Lovely little zoo. Great price. Went round twice and managed to see every animal which was brilliant. The walk from the carpark to the zoo is a bit lengthy but is all flat. Spent about three hours there really enjoyed it. Great selection of animals, all their animals looked happy and healthy.
