A secluded cove surrounded by towering cliffs and lush greenery, Red Acre Beach is a picturesque haven on the UK's coastline. The beach's soft, golden sand stretches towards the calm turquoise waters, perfect for swimming and sunbathing. At low tide, the beach reveals hidden rock pools and ancient fossils, while the surrounding cliffs offer scenic hiking trails with breathtaking views of the ocean.
Beautiful beach. Steep climb up/down, but there are handrails for use. Very rocky Beach, which makes looking for rocks quite the task. Free parking is nearby, about 5 minute walk from stairwell. Not sure if you can swim here, but if you do I would recommend water shoes to protect your feet from said rocks. I mean tons of rocks, more rocks than sand. Beautiful location, seriously come visit!
Lovely pebble and sand beach with amazing views of the North Sea and the Durham coastline
