Tree-filled park (with one believed to date from 1605) with walking trails and a football pitch.
Nice paths. Gym section as well as tennis courts and a playground.
Nicely undulating, ensuring good views. I was fortunate enough to see a beautiful green parrot like bird, quite possibly been released there. There's a couple of ponds to feed the geese. There's also a small adventure playground here, too. Plenty of friendly folk walking dogs or jogging.
Nice place. Went for a picnic, have climbing frames available, playground for kids, basketball court. Have a zipwire. We parked on the side street.
I enjoy walking over here daily. Ponds are relaxing while the ducks & swans swim nicely with their babies. My favourite part is the woodland trail, so peaceful on a sunny day! :)
Well kept park with a little something for everyone. Outdoor exercise equipment, two kiddies play areas, including zip wire, lovely for short walks with the dog. Now, the council needs to address Perry Park, which is currently a disappointing dump.
Great park to take the children to and walk the dogs. Parking can get full quite quickly. Saturday mornings there is football training so get there early!
