Had an enjoyable hour's trek yesterday with the family. 3 hadn't ridden before but staff were very clear with individual instructions to everyone. Safety is important to staff and they ensured everybody was happy and comfortable. Having not ridden for 20 years, I felt quite nervous but soon felt at ease with Meg giving encouragement and being extremely friendly to our group at the back. We had a couple of trots and, those who were safe to do so, had a couple of canters. Easy terrain made it good for first and novice riders. Beautiful countryside en route! Inner thighs are aching a bit today!! Hugo, Erik, Jake, Guinness and Tom were perfect for us! We'll definitely be back and are very grateful for this experience! Thank you to all the staff; they showed how patient and friendly they were. A real asset to the stables.
Fantastic experience, my friend and I did the 2 hr sunset beach ride and it was amazing. All the horses were lovely. The staff are great, all the girls were on hand and very caring for both the horses and the riders. This was a wonderful experience and I do hope they see this review because they made our ride a day to remember. Went on the 2 hour beach ride and had a wonderful time! Yard is clean, horses well cared for, friendly staff and the most incredible beach for a canter. Would be back in a heartbeat! Thanks for an amazing and memorable experience.
I'm a nervous rider (just very out of practice), went on the two hour beach ride and had a great time, the guides were very accommodating and patient with me. Felt very safe, even when riding on the roads. Highly recommend to riders of all or no ability, their horses are very sound.
We recently had a beach ride which was the most beautiful experience. The ride over the moors was stunning, then down through the sand dunes and onto the beach. It was breathtaking. We were in the walk and trot group led by Meg, a wonderfully calm and experienced member of staff who made sure we were always OK during the 2 hour ride. She was really lovely, as were all the staff. Excellent experience that I whole heartedly recommend. I rode Hugo and loved every moment! Wish I lived nearer to ride there more often.
My 15 year old daughter has done quite a few 2-hour beach rides with Reen Manor over the past couple of years- so much so that it has become a factor when booking our holidays in Cornwall to make sure we aren't too far away! She did another one yesterday- the Reen Manor team are truly fantastic. They are professional, friendly and extremely competent. They make sure that each rider is properly suited to the horse they are given and check out each individual's experience before embarking on the ride. They then check out each rider during a 'test canter' on the dunes before deciding whether they are able to go in the 'fast canter' group or whether they would be safer in the slower group. We would like to say a special thanks to Lily for yesterday evening's 2 hour beach ride. Lily was brilliant at leading the faster group. They enjoyed several fast canters along the beach and Lily even managed to take some gorgeous photos of the riders in her group (when they stopped for a rest) with the evening sun in the background- such a brilliant momento! My daughter had an amazing time and can't wait to come back during our next trip to Cornwall! Thank you so much Reen Manor- you are all fab! We would highly recommend the 2-hour beach ride.
