First time visit and the gardens are absolutely stunning. There is seats all around the gardens with beautiful views were you can stop and have something to eat and a cuppa. The paths around the garden are easy to walk on and if you have a pushchair or wheelchair there are plenty of ramps and also it is dog friendly too. The staff are very polite and helpful too. Unfortunately we didn't get chance to go into the hall but will definitely go inside next time.
Nice gardens and hall to visit, with a small interesting museum attached. If you can also manage to visit the hall itself, it is well worth the extra fee. The cafe and farm shop are both excellent,
I loved Renishaw Hall and Gardens. The formal Gardens cost PS10 entry, and the house too. The rest is free entry including the courtyard where there are some shops, a cafe, butchers etc. There is also their local vineyard and one can buy their wines in the lovely little shop..which I haven't done yet. The cafe is very nice too and the cappuccino delicious, which we had with a divine cream tea. The PS10 entry for the garden was so worth it. It is an absolute haven and so magical..the formal gardens are truly beautiful and well maintained. There is also a gorgeous wood, and some lovely walking paths down a hill to a beautiful lake. Obviously it helped that it was a stunning day.. I haven't done the house yet, but I'm sure that's lovely too. I've been a few times already and look forward to my return. It is open daily from 9am on a Wednesday til Sunday 16h30, and or Bank holiday Mondays, unless otherwise specified.
Well maintained and full of interest. A nice mix of formal and informal landscaping with tasteful and quirky statues and other items of interest throughout. Two large meres complete the delightful grounds. Plenty for everyone I'd say. And a well stocked cafe to top it all off.
Came here for afternoon tea with friends. Really nice place. We were sat in a different hall which was nice as the afternoon tea is clearly set in a different setting. The staff were lovely, attentive to our tea needs. We stated allergy/preferences and they were very clear on these catering for us. The food was very tasty. Very good for price as well. We were offered bags to take the rest home with that we didn't eat which was nice
Lovely gardens and house and courtyard. Wonderful cafe. Gardens are accessible for PS10 adult, PS5 under 18's. Lovely in the good weather, lots of off path areas so not so favourable in the wet. Cafe, courtyard, parking and museum accessible free of charge.
