Mizens Railway (Woking Miniature Railway Society)

Mizens Railway is a 7-1/4 inch gauge railway in Knaphill, Woking run by members of Woking Miniature Railway Society, open every Sunday until 25th September 2pm-5pm and every Thursday afternoon in August. Train rides are up to a mile long through a delightful 10 acre woodland site. Note: for safety, public access to the site from our car park is from 1.45pm only. We are unable to carry children under the age of 12 months on the trains, or young children under 10 years old without an accompanying adult. Dogs are not permitted on our trains. Writing to us? Lovely walk from Ripley cricket green/play area to the Weir. Walk along towpath towards pub. Suggest dogs kept on leads some very narrow areas and deep drops to river.

I really want to come back in summer time. The canal is gorgeous, nice to walk around and take pure air :)

We came across this by accident but it was a lovely place to stop. We saw a couple of boats going down the river.

Newly installed fish ladder adds interest ... nice circular walk over Ripley Common, past Ockham Mill and along Wey and Godalming Navigation.
