The River Lugg is a river in Herefordshire, England, that flows through the market town of Leominster and joins the River Wye near the village of Lugg Bridge. It is a tributary of the River Wye and is approximately 25 miles (40 km) long. The river flows through a picturesque valley and is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. It is known for its clear waters and is a popular spot for fishing, particularly for trout and grayling. The river also supports a variety of wildlife, including otters, kingfishers, and herons.
I kayaked on this river and I would not recommend it if you are not confident, not willing to fall in (you will definitely fall in) and it is very intense, the opposite of leasurley. If you like it like this then it is really great! There is just a few too many trees or obstacles fully blocking the way which is a pain to porter over.
Nice river
Good for kids
