A Garden full of Glimmers awaits you..... Our 2024 Season runs 13th March - 27th October. We are open 10 - 5 Wednesday - Sunday, plus Bank Holiday Monday Beautiful, relaxing hillside Gardens with stunning views, bold & unusual planting & plenty to explore, plus an excellent cafe. A Garden for all seasons, much loved by Garden enthusiasts, families & their dogs. Free parking.
A cute little garden that we stumbled across. Entrance is PS12 for adults (as of August 2024) which is fine. The rock garden and one way stairs by the pond are nice, as is the viewpoint. There are lots of little surprises and variations in flowers and scenery which I feel is important for a garden, and this one didn't disappoint. There's plenty of room and also fun stuff for kids, like an adventure playground, a hedge maze, and a yeti character at weekends. A good place just for adults too with a few hilly hiking trails to get the blood pumping. Well recommended.
Beautiful gardens with lovely water features and loads of flowers. Some activities for kids in a craft tent and also in the Yeti woods, where they can meet the yeti and build wooden shacks from tje sticks, also a nice adventureplayground. Nice picnic space, good cafe with polite staff. Price for a family is PS35.
Really enjoyable first visit to the gardens. The Walled Garden was beautiful, the maze was fun, the rock garden, ferns and pool delightful. It is steep to get to the top but the maze was worth it. It was only 16deg-19degC and sunny but the trees cut the wind so it felt warm in the sun. The cafe is really good and the coffee was excellent but isn't cheap. The team are really good and the tables were constantly being cleared so it was an enjoyable dining experience. We enjoyed our first visit and would come again at different times of the year to see the bluebells or the azaleas/rhododendrons in bloom.
A charming place to visit. There are several play areas, a maze and entertainment for children. Picnic areas as well as a very nice cafe. Plenty of areas to walk in and if you are fit enough to climb up to the view point a wonderful panorama of the weald of Kent.
Beautiful garden to unwind. Lovely decorated with flowers, trees, lots of green areas to play, walk, have a picnic or you can try the local cafe. There is a carpark, shop and toilets. The garden comes with a labyrinth which is quite fun to solve for kids and adults Staff is lovely.
My first visit to this hidden gem! Lots of beauty and interesting things to see. Good value with Gardener's World 2 for 1. Nice cafe and stalls. Will be back!
