The New Art Centre is a sculpture park and commercial gallery, set in the Wiltshire countryside near Salisbury. Specialising in 20th and 21st-century works of art, we have outdoor sculpture sited in the gardens, together with works of art, exhibited in our prize-winning contemporary spaces. We have longstanding relationships with the artists that we show, many of which stretch back over the past six decades. Open 7 days a week, 11am - 4pm. Booking is essential - please contact us via phone or e-mail to make a booking.
I love this space, over the years it's grown to become not just a sculpture garden but two beautiful indoor gallery spaces too. It shows big and small works and very little stays in the same space for long except for Richard Long! I'm so pleased I found the Laura Ford trilogy as it sits at the top of the most beautiful meadow of spurge and wild garlic. Her tiny figures are a delight. Don't hesitate to go if you love at you'll love this space.
Greeted with a welcome smile at the front and provided with a map after signing in. This is a treasure, situated in the countryside the statues and art installations are dotted around the gardens and within some architectural delightful buildings. Very much enjoy wandering around and seeing the various pieces. While wondering with some, what was the artist inspiration. There are artists books for sale, and donations to the charitable trust can be made at the front door to the main house.
Fantastic hidden gem. Worth a stop if you're in the vicinity - a range of sculptures to walk around, beautiful setting, friendly staff and *amazingly* free
A wonderful magical place full of beautiful art and set in magnificent surroundings. A hidden gem. The blend of old and new buildings with a huge selection of excellent contemporary art offerings is at the core of this site. But the fact that one can meander through taking it all in without interference is brilliant. Obviously if you want to buy anything your able to do that too. We'll worth a visit.
Hidden Gem! Not a soul there when we arrived and it felt as if we had time to soak in the garden and the sculptures. Indoor art exhibits were interesting and a must for any architect with a taste for the modern
Beautiful setting with a wide range of interesting sculptures and modern art We visited Roche Court on a wet June, despite the weather not being in our favour it was still a lovely day. The court is layed out with sculptures placed carefully around the grounds of the house and some exhibits inside the artist's cottage and anex at the rear of the property. The gallery can be viewed from the garden and is often changed allowing visitors to see the permanent collection, plus a temporary collection on visits.
