A 180-hectare area of heathland, woodland, and scrub, featuring a mix of acid heath and chalk downland, with sandy paths and scenic views, home to a variety of wildlife including birds, reptiles, and insects, with several walking trails and a car park.
Good place to set off from to explore Rodborough, Witley and Thursley Commons by foot or bike.
Beautiful area of countryside, mix of woodland and heathland with various walking routes. Great to visit all year round. Paths link to Bagmoor and Thursley commons for longer walks. If you're looking for a longer walk, I'd highly recommend walking through to Borough Farm Road and heading on to Bagmoor Common and following the main path back through to Rodborough Common.
Love walking here. Soon to be somewhere I won't be walking which is a shame. Parking charges being introduced soon apparently. PS1.30 an hour! Not much of an encouragement to get out in the countryside.
Went to the S4P bike park. Too wet to ride but a progressive set of jumps with pump track and tabletops for novices and varying sizes of gap jumps up to expert level. Will go back if summer comes this year.
Very popular with professional dog walkers as well as those using the bike park/trail. No facilities. Nearest cafe/restaurant and toilets in Milford. Walking on well maintained tracks and links to Thursley, Bagmoor and Hankley Commons.
Now no parking charges .... lovely.
