Lovely walk do too the lighthouse we went on a nice calm day and just missed a pid of dolphins passing my 5 minutes!! Lots of fishermen at the end and dog friendly too .
My fav place to be in the North east, lush walk along, loads of nice cafes and bars and loads are dog friendly! Tgere are nice clean toilets, quite alot of parking and its only PS3 for a full day! It's a great place for a swim or water sports and bonus there is often dolphins they sometimes come right in the harbour
A fantastic tour of the pier tunnel and lighthouse. "Adventure Sunderland" guides Maureen & Craig really bring the tour to life with their depth of knowledge and friendly approach to all visitors.
