What a beautiful place indeed. This was the first time I have been there and it did not disappoint at all. Had a lovely walk around the grounds and lake. The lake was full of swans, ducks and other birds.....must have been a hundred
A lovely spacious park, ideal to let the little ones run around. They could do with improving the children's play area. There is a lovely cafe that has recently opened, and it is a wonderful place for a quick snack and a tea or coffee on the go. The cafe is very inexpensive and the food and drinks are fresh. They open around 9.30 am and close, depending on the weather, at around 5 pm. The gentleman that served us today is a real gentleman, known to many locals as Mr P or Pykie. He is very helpful and always telling jokes, a very happy go lucky person. Well, it's worth a visit.
Lovely park with lots of amenities, children's play area, large grassed area, woodland, tennis courts, events, toilets, cafe and nature walks
Lovely traditional Victorian park. Plenty of space to play or explore. Good size children's play area, fenced off. Yes shop in the park. Clean toilets at the entrance.
Came here for an event with Cardiff Rescue hotel, toilets on site which were clean and free of charge. Great space, a lot of room to walk and have a picnic. Free parking in the streets around the park.
Glastonbarry junior festival was fantastic. Rides, music, food and drink and multiple seller stalls. Token system for bar and kids drink stand worked well and efficient, prices were not the best. PS6 for kids slush PS3 for a bottle of pepsi.
