Disappointed that the website states the cottage is open but upon arrival found it closed and a local said it wasn't opening until 1st April. If this is correct why doesn't the website state this and why not have a notice in the window to that effect.
Interesting dockyard workers cottage and former fish shop full of times past objects. The opening times are flexible and reliant on the friendly volunteers. Generally Thursday to Saturday are safest.
Visited this little cottage with our granddaughter doing her wheels of time. We really enjoyed our visited, and the people showing us around, were very friendly & helpful.
Quirky little museum , the lovely chap had loads of interesting information, worth a visit and the PS1 donation to keep these places open.
