This beautiful forest and park in Northern Ireland features stunning scenery, with towering pine trees, rolling hills, and sparkling streams. Visitors can explore the forest's many walking trails, including the 2-mile Roseisle Forest Trail, which takes you through a variety of landscapes, from mature woodland to open heathland. The park also offers picnic areas, a children's playpark, and a visitor centre with information on the forest's history, geology, and wildlife.
Easy to park, easy to walk, absolutely beautiful. Soft sand, dog friendly, hot food options. Incredible views!! Our kids loved the ww2 left over cement barricades and bunkers. Would absolutely come back !
Wonderfull combination of a gorgeous flat beach with expansive views across the Firth and a forest with plenty of walks through mixed woodland and parkland , large car park centred around a toilet block and an excellent food truck with plenty of tables and bench seating set in the forest but only a 2 minute stroll onto the dunes and the beach
Great place for a barbecue with dedicated picnic trays on the benches, has both sea and forest within walking distance of each other. Sandy beach with amazing view. Not too crowded in the spring and parking around PS4 per day.
Fantastic beach and woods with picnic area and public toilets. Endless walks, wartime defences. Well used by walkers cyclists and horse riders. The beach is very shallow and ideal for children. Occasional dolphin sightings. Even on a busy day there is plenty of beach to share and get your own space to relax.
On the edge of the beach a traditional pine forest, trails for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Picnic tables and toilets at car park. Parking charges are reasonable.
Beautiful beach beyond the lovely forest. Plenty of parking (PS2 for 1 hour at time of writing). Toilets and coffee trailer. Dog friendly beach.
