The sound of the water cascading over the rocks is soothing, and the surrounding landscape offers ample opportunities for exploration and photography.
Absolutely beautiful waterfall relatively easily accessible. I parked at the Black Loch car park and followed the path up past Black Loch for about 10 or 15 minutes. From there, on your right, you can see the waterfall. The path up was very slippy so sturdy footwear is essential! Great waterfall though. It's beautiful.
Lovely Walk nice flat path past Black Loch and then a short steeper walk to the waterfall
Beautiful waterfall which was really easy to find. No idea why google says this is closed, it is still accessible! We parked at the black loch car, it's a very rough gravel road and you'll feel like you've gone the wrong! It's about a half mile walk along a gravel path to the waterfall. The path directly to the waterfall can be boggy but with careful footing there is a dry path. If the weather was nicer I expect this could've been a nice spot for wild swimming.
Even better for being rainy, very powerful. The footpath up to it was like a pond itself so wear good boots
Beautiful waterfall in stunning surroundings, abit boggy walking up to it but stick right of the wall and use the stones to step on. Easy to find . Perfect especially on a beautiful spring day. Well worth a walk too and believe people canyon there ?? . Will definitely bring a towel next time we visit.
Lovely waterfall, not too bad of a walk either! There's a loch on the way and just past it's a little boggy (because of the time of year) but worth getting covered in mud for
