750-acre park with walking and cycling trails, nature reserve, watersports centre and cafe.
Lovely place even on a gray day. Been here a couple of times now, mostly just to take in the scenery and to enjoy the walk. For the most part the paths are nice and dry, but some parts get muddy with rain and end up slippery - so appropriate footwear is a must. It might be worth noting that toilets are not accessible 24/7, so you might want to time your visit to be more during the earlier hours of the day.
Absolutely amazing place. You can rent pedal boat or bring Your own inflatable board and have trip on lake. Have a BBQ with family or ride with rented bike. Highly recommended for summer day
Lovely place to have a stroll or enjoy the water sports. Cafe was good, parking was easy.
It would have got 5 stars, but the parking costs are like city centre prices, just way too expensive. The actual place is quite nice, lots of watersport things to do and walking routes all the way round the lakes. There is also a small cafe with courtyard seating.
Love Rother valley for a nice leisurely, relaxing walk. Stopped off at the stables cafe on Thursday and enjoyed a really lovely jacket potato and tuna mayo. Extremely good value for money.
Lovely day out with the family, great walking around the lake. The only down side is that the train wasn't operational and wish the had a little more of an update on the park for the little ones, a slide perhaps, but other than that, it's worth it
