Great view of the shipping channel, isle of wight and into the harbour. Nice spot to relax in the sun.
A Sunday visit, parking reasonable for 2 hours, local coffee hut ok. Fun watching the sea police slowing speeders down.

I was in the area for the Hotwalls Easter creative market, which are a monthly event. Good selection of artisans, local food and drink producers and some music, making it a great vibe on a sunny spring day.
Beautiful spot in old Portsmouth with lovely views of the harbour. There are seats available on top of the tower. Some quite steep steps and low arches, so it's a bit tricky for those with mobility issues. If you're in Portsmouth for a visit, it's worth going along to the Round Tower, just round the corner from Gun Wharf.
