Routin Brig Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder located in the Scottish Highlands. The waterfall drops 100 feet down a rocky slope, creating a misty veil that surrounds the area. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery and are accessible via a scenic hiking trail that offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The waterfall is at its peak during the spring and summer months when the snowmelt from the surrounding mountains is at its highest, creating a thundering roar that can be heard from a distance.
Found this place whilst visiting a nearby church. The water was in Spey which added to the atmosphere and noise. I took a few photos. Twenty minutes is all the time you need to visit.
Absolutely beautiful little spot to stop. We only spent an hour at the waterfall due to time commitments, wish that one day I can return with a picnic. Very beautiful
Lovely location with a small but very picturesque waterfall great for relaxing and getting some pictures wood is also good for walking the dogs ...no parking as such but there is a passing place that can be used in quieter times
Lovely walk from Landal Barnsoul lodges. Around 4 miles round trip. Very peaceful but a bit slippy on the rocks with the moss so tread carefully .
