Located on Liverpool's Waterfront, Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is the most-visited free tourist destination in North West England, home to world-class museums, galleries, restaurants, bars and shops.
Fabulous waterfront development , it is some years since I was last here and there is tons of stuff to see and do, all within easy walking distance. If arriving by train , don't be put off by the grotty area around Lime Street Station, it gets better very quickly.
Lovely place to have a walk around. There's a couple of museums (suggested donation), boat trips and lots of places to eat that are very expensive in my opinion, we didn't pay those prices in the centre of London!
Had a lovely day walking around the Albert dock, there was lots of events happening as it was a beautiful summer day. We had a look in most of the shops, including the new Harry Potter shop. There were lots of places to dine and drink. We decided on the cafe from the museum as it had lovely outdoor seating and seemed a little less busy. The food was delicious. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend it and I'd like to visit again.
It's definitely a beautiful Dock!!! Nice views with seagulls flying around. Was lucky to enjoy these under the sunshine. You will feel life is so wonderful and relaxed here...The are also some cafe shops and food trucks by the river.people enjoy taking photos around. There were also many students gathering here for enjoying their school holiday time which gave a lot of young and energetic vibes. Definitely A Must-See!
Fantastic place , very accessible. Great fun here . There is so much to do here I will be returning for a second visit. Even though access is cobbled paths , it is very wheelchair accessible and friendly. Prices for items here are cheaper than you may actually think.
Last visited 1987/8 ish...think it was quite new back then and not much there. But what a change....lots of shops, cafes & bars to visit....easily spend a day here. Included an old picture when they used to have the This Morning Floating Weather Map next to the studio there.
