This 18th-century estate is a treasure trove of history, architecture, and natural beauty. The grand mansion, designed by renowned architect Robert Adam, boasts stunning neoclassical façades, ornate interiors, and exquisite furnishings. The surrounding parklands, crafted by celebrated landscape designer Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, feature rolling hills, serene lakes, and winding woodland walks. Visitors can explore the estate's many wonders, including a picturesque walled garden, a fascinating museum, and a charming courtyard café.
Great little park. Not too big and a lovely walk through the woods. Nice tea room and really enjoyed the Alexander Goudie exhibition. Loved the wicker figures around the estate.
Excellent place to relax . You can have there picnic , walk your dog as well .
Beautiful! A nice nature spot with a pond full of lovely ducks and swans and water chickens. Bursting with life on land as well! Brave squirrels that come in close contact and robins (in the winter). People take great care of the estate and natural ecosystems are lovingly looked after by the local ranger team too
Rozelle is a great spot for walking the dogs. You can see it change through the seasons, and follow your nose in Autumn to find the candy floss tree. The cafe is dog friendly inside and on the patio and has some great food. You can also follow the wicker storybook character trail, all with a connection to Scotland.
Fantastic country park near Ayr. Easy parking, beautiful walks and lots of interesting things to see. Great for the whole family, perfect for walking the dog too. Really impressed with the maintenance staff, been there today and they've cleared all the paths in the woods around the perimeter. Great if you've got limited mobility.
