This 57-acre park in Egham, Surrey, features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. Visitors can rent boats and enjoy the scenery from the water, or take a leisurely stroll around the lake and surrounding woodlands. The park is also home to a café, a children's play area, and a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, and other aquatic creatures.
Beautiful place, we had a lovely family walk down there. Ample parking, parking charge payment via app only. Can get really busy in sunny weekends.
Great place to walk around and spend time with family. Nice play area for kids
Nice park, had a cafe and ice cream shop, toilets, park, boat trip and some little go carts ect, a small splash pool you can buy duck food from either the cafe or ice cream shop for PS1 a bag
Had a lovely few hours with friends. My 3 year old godson loved watching the boats go along the river whilst we were having a picnic. We went to the splash park which he thoroughly enjoyed and to the play park which has the basic equipment but is clean and is enough to keep little ones entertained. Ice cream was good, quite expensive as ranges from PS2.10 for small tub to PS4.70 for a large cone. We bought bags of swan and duck food (PS1 a bag at the ice cream hut by the splash park) and fed the geese and ducks. LOTS of them around and very close encounters with them so it was interesting, but we're animal lovers so weren't fussed! Parking is paid for after the visit. After 3 hours is classed as all day which is PS7.50 so it's not cheap. All in all a good morning out!
Love dog friendly place A little cafe serving food n drinks Toilets available Excellent green space to run your dog Play equipment for little children to enjoy, Accessibility to the Lucy Fisher if your going for a cruise you can get the boat from the Magna carta monument and pay on the boat It's wonderful to see all the river houses and it's a nice scenic walk
We brought the 5 year old and toddler to these grounds for the soft fall lagoon splash play area, fully fenced within a massive riverside park with LOADS of parking. An event was being held, some kind of fun run, with many family gazebos set up and a great atmosphere. We took a boat ride and saw many paddle boarders and kayakers out enjoying the safe and picturesque river. The boat has served as a prop on several movies but now the central boiler is a fibreglass replica. A very pleasant afternoon.
