Great views from this monument, some steep areas to get to monument, and can be very muddy in some places, not wheel chair accessible, good foot wear advised, keep dogs on a lead, if lucky you might see some deer, well worth a visit
Absolute lovely views all round from this monument took a great walk from gate house of fleet to get here passing trustys hill and the ancient stone carvings in the rocks. Looks like the path can get boggy if the weather's been wet built To the memory of the Rev Samual Rutherford Minister of the parish of Anwoth from 1627 to 1639 when he was appointed Professor of Divinity in the University of St Andrews where he died 1661.
