An interesting pier that you can ride your motorcycle on to the end. Their is a train station and hovercraft jetty port so a hub for travelling. From and to the island. There is a cafe and little booth shop for drinks ice cream and magazines etc. Ryde is also a nice sea side town to look around a bit Victorian with the grass and flower areas.

A very long pier and transport hub, on the Ryde seafront. It is a great place to stand and watch the ships coming ang going from Southampton and Portsmouth. The pier is also situated next to the Hoovercraft terminal, so the area is constantly busy with travellers to and from the mainland.

One of best places to watch the waterway of the Solent. See the Cat, hover and ferries. Also the Solent in her element. Beautiful Amazing to see sunrises and sunsets too.

Great for a walk. Not for small children (there are gaps in the railings). No bicycles or scooters. Free 25 hour access.
