Liked: Location is perfect, right on the water edge and Wroxham is only up the road for anything you need. At one with nature. Fresh, cold water by tap available. Lovely little spot to have a swim, paddle, or pick up a water activity. Ranger nearby all day. The view is spectacular overlooking fields and woodland. Can hear many different animals day and night. Disliked: Right by the toilets, which being compostable and portaloo only was very smelly. At first we thought we were tucked out of the way from the public. As the week went on we realized most wonder through the field using the toilets on the campsite or as a through route, making us feel uneasy about leaving things in the tent whilst out for the day. Public play park the other side of the hedge so can get noisy depending on who's staying overnight on the boats. No shelter or covered areas if it's hot, just an open field.
Liked: We absolutely loved the set up, from the gated entry to checking in. Both the rangers we met were really friendly & helpful. Loved that it was so close to the lake (where we rented a canoe), but also far away enough we weren't worried about the children running around. More than enough portaloos even when the camp was full, and they were kept fairly clean.
Liked: Well maintained site. Friendly and helpful rangers. Basic facilities, but clean and all provided that was needed for a peaceful anf simple break. As a woman on my own for 7 nights, I felt completely safe. Excellent coffee from the Hungry Otter. Close proximity to Norwich and also the coast, yet in a peaceful village m, right by the water.
Liked: Beautiful location, well spaced out, car parked very near by. Great coffee and snack hut. Short walk to a wonderful rural pub. We had a great sunny weekend and would go again. Disliked: No showers.
Liked: Location next to the broad was amazing, the ranger was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Dog friendly site was perfect for us. Disliked: Nothing to dislikes everything was perfect
Liked: Was so easy to find, the ranger was so helpful. Plenty of activities near by, it was the first time I went camping and I loved it so will definitely be going back again! It was beautiful scenery, it was clean and had toilet facilities.
