Due to the wet winter the Rare Breeds Centre is currently closed as the fields are too wet to move the animals back from winter grazing. We are offering special experiences which must be booked in advance. Please see our website for further details.
Lovely place to take our little granddaughter - she loved it. Just the right size for a tiny person to walk around and enjoy. Educational for the adults too!
Kids will definitely enjoy the time in here. You need to buy tickets from the entrance to go inside the farm. There is lots of different lambs, goats and animals. There are volunteers to help you and there is a refreshment shop to buy food items like snacks and also there is cute dolls of animals. This place is near Hadleigh castle. Give it a try
A beautiful time spent cuddling the lambs and exploring the rare Breeds. It certainly makes a big difference having the volunteers take you arround, rather than turning up so see animals
It's a lovely place for a walk with the dog or a stroll with who ever your with there's a bike track for bmx etc plenty of scenery and you can see over the estuary for Mike's there's also a nice cafe, the hub where you can get food and drink
Had a lovely morning here with our 2 Yr old Grandson and family. He loved seeing all the animals especially the goats and feeding them all. Animals looked very well cared for. Nice little shop in the way out too that we got a little tractor from for him . There is a play area and benches where you can stop for a rest if needed. Reasonably priced for entry too.
By toddler loved the farm. We been before but was too small to appreciate it as much as he did yesterday! Recently move to the area so it's easy for us to walk to and myself planning to be a childminder, this place will be brilliant to bring little ones and will learn so much. Danielle in the shop was so lovely and friendly to talk to and was helpful with information with passes when becoming a childminder. We shall be back again soon!
