Today we went on dog's night at Sam's Sunflower Farm. The farm is on Hayling Island and is huge. You can pick sunflowers and wildflowers, eat something delicious, there is a well stocked bar and live entertainment. Perfect for a photoshoot or a walk or to wander around the maze. I recommend checking the calendar on their official website to see what else they have to offer. Really interesting place and the ticket price includes three free sunflowers. It's a shame dog nights are only on Thursdays.
I took my 12 yr old great neice to your Hoedown yesterday and we had the best time. Everything was so well laid out and organised, the marquees looked beautiful, the entertainment was fantastic and the wild flower fields were stunning. Excellent value for money. Will definitely go again.
A brilliant day out entry fairly prized as each paying entry gets three sun flower stems. The maze is extra which is expensive as you have to pay for little ones. Catering is super expensive . Bring a picnic instead. The flowers are stunning.
Went on a Thursday 'doggy' evening when there was also open mic music with my daughter and Maltipoo who loved meeting all the other dogs. We all had a wonderful time. There are huge areas of sunflowers of all different types interspersed with other areas of wild flowers. There is also a great number of inspired props which make stunning photos with beautiful backgrounds. All this is in a large area of farmland with the provision of a large free car park on one of the fields, so an incredible feeling of space. There is also a lovely, partially covered, social area with plenty of picnic tables where you can enjoy various hot or cold food and drink options and the music of course. This was my first visit and I shall definitely be back.
This year is even more stunning and so beautifully put together. Love the huge meadows of wild flowers with the sunflowers. It was cold & grey, with showers today but we still absolutely loved it.
Great place to go to on a warm sunny day. Every where looks great on a sunny day! Brilliant for kids too with loads of room. Nice outdoor eating space with hot food and alcohol or just take your own picnic.
