A serene and picturesque pond surrounded by lush greenery and walking trails, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, with opportunities for birdwatching, picnicking, and relaxation amidst nature's beauty.
It's refreshing to have small green areas such as this pond, that has been kept for so many years. Cattle such as sheeps used it in the past for refreshment. There are a few benches and it is right by the street, at the roundabout just next to a church. There were not many ducks when visiting probably due to the rain and them hiding away. The pond itself is lovely. A great spot to sit and read during a sunny day.
Lovely little local pond which is well maintained and always a pleasure to walk to. There isn't much else to do here but that's what I like about it, you just come and admire the beauty, the birds and some fresh air. Take a seat if you like. It's a great place for dog walkers or for toddlers to see the ducks and pigeons. I think sometime around May the ducks lay eggs and you can see the cute little ducklings swimming about. My son always enjoyed coming here and it was a blessing to have nearby during COVID lockdowns. There are some fish in the pond, we also released a couple of fishes in there. Plenty of parking opposite the church.
Decent pond/park to relax and sit. Pond itself is very small but there's plenty space at the park for a picnic. Several shops nearby. Only problem is that there's no bathroom nearby.
Nice place and relaxing despite the heavy traffic roundabout next to it.
Love coming to this pond, whether in the day or at night. Yes it's close to the main road, but it's a little sanctuary tucked away, full of so many varieties of birds and animals. Kids also love to come here and feed the ducks and geese. Great place if you want to just relax and contemplate the meaning of life.
Nice little pond with a couple of benches, would be very relaxing if it wasn't quite so close to the road.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
