This 12-acre park features a large playground, skate park, and sports facilities, including a football pitch, tennis courts, and a bowling green. The park also has a cafe, walking trails, and a variety of plant species, including a sensory garden and a community garden.
Nice enough place to walk, no signage though and a very short route.
Beautiful park with magical Fairy bridges. We didn't find the large waterfall so will be back to search. Kids loved it
Beautiful place for a walk, lots of trees and trails to follow. Paths are pretty firm, but it could be easy to get lost. Lovely little bridge with an excellent reflection for a photo. Definitely a hidden gem and worth a visit.
Lovely walk. You can either walk through a large meadow at the far side of which there are picnic benches, or if you go through the woods to the left, there are lots of streams, which quirky bridges, passages of pink and purple rhododendrons and two large ponds. Lots of pathways to follow and a very beautiful and peaceful area.
A little patch of heaven, criss crossed with streams. Open fields and shady woods, very few people, even on a sunny Sunday. Great fun for the dogs but BEWARE , we helped rescue someone whose dog cut his foot badly in the pond.
Yes it seemed beautiful but no maps or sign posts to show u where u are heading...wanted to do a circular route with my dog but as I'm on my own didn't want to get lost! Needs more information about this place...such a shame
