We went on the vineyard safari, led by Matt. Great views and some wines to taste as we walked around. Matt was very good at answering questions. Clearly a great ethos in terms of protecting the environment. We saw lots of hares, which was a bonus. The trip around the winery was also very good, followed by their charcuterie and Sharpham cheese. Had lunch in the Circa Restaurant. We can recommend their pickled vegetables and beef shin croquettes.

We had the most enjoyable visit. Parking was easy and the whole experience was first class. We chose to have lunch before the wine tasting tour and a short circular stroll up to the vineyard. Some decent shoes are needed for the stroll as the ground is not level or even, and it involves some railway sleeper steps. The walk is worth it though, and only takes about 40 minutes . The choice for lunch is perfect, as were the amounts served. We have reached an age where we are not looking for overflowing plates. Top quality food on small plates is the order of the day here. We chose their cheese mousse on toasted bread with pickled beetroot as a shared starter. I then had the charcuterie, and my wife chose aubergine. Next course for me were the beef shin croquettes, whilst my wife chose the bass. Both of us had to decline a sweet course, because we had eaten a sufficient amount . The owner Chef is self taught and the presentation of the plates of food were works of art! Table service is a joy. Well informed staff make the meals a real learning curve with each dish being explained. The cutlery and glassware were sparkling, and the toilets keeping the standards high. I am an ex Hotel and Restaurant Inspector, and with food of this quality, I look forward to them opening in Totnes High Street. The tour was led by Rachel who had a wonderful knowledge and kept us amused and interested. The wines tasted gave us a deep insight into their approach to producing these superb English wines. We came home with four bottles! Thank you for making our visit so memorable.

My wife and I did a vineyard Safari at the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent, informative and interesting host, Mark, took us through the wine making process, and we enjoyed four very different wines. Thoroughly recommended.

My partner & I went here today. Amazing selection of wines, we did a wine tasting which included 4 wines each - incredible choices and tastes. We then did lunch in the restaurant & had amazing variation of dishes with amazing service by the two guys working today. Really impressed & enjoyed ourselves so much!

Took my Sisters dog up for a walk along the nature trail. Beautiful place with amazing scenery and very informative placards along the way, telling you all about the place. Would be great for primary school day trips! For the adults, I got myself a bottle of pinot noir and some cider The shop is full of some lovely treats, books, cheeses, chutneys, etc. Reasonably priced, you get what you pay for. Cider is lovely! The staff were also very kind and helpful. Will be visiting again to support this local treasure. 10/10

Great spot for some good wine and food tastings. They also have a restaurant so make sure to try that out too (bookings preferred). The staff are friendly and helpful but perhaps get a smidgen overwhelmed when it's busy (for tastings).
